It’s almost the weekend, which for me also means being able to eat a little more relaxed. The wedge salad is one of those classic salads that I literally ache for when we go out for a steak dinner. It keeps me from choosing starchy sides and who doesn’t love blue cheese? (I know, I know, plenty of people.)
That said, below’s picture from Saveur already has me salivating. Despite this, and their wonderful recipes, I personally have a family favorite for the dressing that I have to share again. A RePost of my own post if you will? (Is that allowed? Yes, it’s allowed, I’m the boss. and I’m boss. Woot.)
This hearty wedge salad, which contains the classic elements of a bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich, is a version of one served at Old Homestead Steakhouse in New York City.
