Not gonna lie, this article kinda made my day. I mean, “Super Successful”, not just successful, sorta kinda – but SUPER! Well my friends, I can honestly say, I wasn’t doing the breakfast thing until this year. and what a difference a meal makes.
Ever the gym and diet rat, I thought taking one meal out of the day might help. Admittedly, any sort of caloric reduction helps you lose weight, but for me at least (and I’m no expert nor doctor!) mentally I wasn’t getting the juice (literally!) I needed to start the day.
Since then, I’ve made sure to get 200-300 calories in before the work day starts. The changes I saw were near immediate and kept me going all day long. I ate less lunch. I worked out better. I felt like I was “on” much more than my usual groggy pre-coffee 10am self. So if there’s something I walked away from this knowing – KEEP up the eggs!

Eat a Healthy Breakfast. We all know that rush out the door with a cup of coffee and an empty stomach feeling. You sit down at your desk, and you’re already wondering how early that taco truck sets up camp outside your office. No good. Take that extra time in the morning to fuel your body for the tasks ahead of it. It will help keep your mind on what’s at hand and not your growling stomach. Not only is breakfast good for your physical health, it is also a good time to connect socially. Even five minutes of talking with your kids or spouse while eating a quick bowl of oatmeal can boost your spirits before heading out the door.
