He (nor I) have been running a ton. But what I loved had very little to do with athletic skill. It was the smile on his face when I saw him.
He made his good time. He hit the mark exactly where he said. He normally looks like death warmed over when I get to hug him afterward.
This time was different.
He said he just ran because it was fun. Normally geared with the greatest running watch ever, my husband is about numbers and time and progress. This time, he just ran.
and his smile was worth a million.
